Robotics Engineering

At Percogman Robotics Academy, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of robotics through a series of workshops. Each workshop is designed using an internationally recognized multimedia curriculum, where the student learns concepts and implements the theory on a real robot kit. The student will be taught using instructions from a trained instructor, and a series of videos and computer programs.

In addition to learning about robotics, the student will be learn on how to work as a team. He or she will learn valuable skills such as, set a goal, present his or her solutions to a problem, design and implement his or her ideas, and debug the results and demonstrate and present his or her creation. There may even be opportunities to demonstrate the knowledge gained at the end of the course by competing in a robot competition regionally or nationally.

When a student completes these workshops, he or she will be equipped to program robot kits to do interesting tasks such as solving the Rubik’s cube, sorting colored objects etc. The only limits to the possibilities will be their imagination and creativity.
